Sprats are known for their nutritional value as they contain high levels of polyunsaturated fats, including eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) considered beneficial for a dog's diet. The amounts found in sprat are comparable to those in Atlantic salmon and up to seven times higher in EPA and DHA than common fresh fillets of gilthead sea bream. Sprat contains about 1.43 g/100 g of these polyunsaturated fatty acids which help prevent mental, neural and cardiovascular diseases.

Your dog should always have water available when eating treats. As with all dog chews, we recommend supervising your dog while eating.
